About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Liverpool. This role involves providing tailored support to a Year 1 student, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in a child's learning journey.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 1 student, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and help maintain a positive learning environment.
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans.
- Monitor and record the student's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support the student in developing social skills and managing behaviour.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare.
