The School and Role

This busy and friendly, one-form entry Primary School in the Wallasey area, Wirral, are looking for a passionate and driven Teaching Assistant to support the teacher in a Year 5 class.  The role will start immediately, and will be ongoing through to the end of the academic year, with the view to continuing into next year.  They are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who will focus on delivering small group interventions and supporting behaviour management.  Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant and managing behaviour effectively, is essential.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience with children and/or young people
  • A Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Proactive, personable with a real positive can-do attitude
  • Have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
