Your responsibilities will include managing the opening of files, communicating with courts and experts, preparing bundles for hearings, and carrying out Legal Aid assessments. You will also attend court to assist counsel or clients, provide essential legal and administrative support, and maintain excellent client service both in person and remotely. Effective diary management and maintaining smooth case progression will also be key parts of your role.The successful candidate will:
  • Be proficient in Case Management Systems, Laserforms, and the Legal Aid Agency Portal (CCMS) (essential).
  • Have experience using Excel spreadsheets (desirable).
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills, thriving in a busy team environment.
  • Be flexible, proactive, and ready to meet client and team needs with a people-focused approach.
