Your new companyAre you a KS2 teacher looking for a new challenge in the new year? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher, ideally with experience of teaching year 6 classes, to join a friendly and supportive team at a Wallasey Primary School, on the Wirral peninsula. The post is full-time for at least a term, starting in January 2025.

Your new roleAs a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and interests of your pupils. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will work closely with your colleagues and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. You will have access to excellent resources and facilities, as well as ongoing professional development and support.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience of teaching KS2 classes in a primary school setting
  • Sound classroom management skills and proven behaviour management strategies
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
