Location: Wallasey, Merseyside (with occasional travel to Trafford Park, Manchester)

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000

Role Responsibilities:

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for:

• Producing detailed reports for internal supply chain performance and external KPI tracking.
• Collaborating with operations to manage stock inventory.
• Managing daily shipments to customers, from samples to bulk orders.
• Maintaining and operating the ERP system for supply chain functions (e.g., stock control, shipping, POs).
• Controlling purchase systems and orders, ensuring compliance and traceability.
• Collaborate with R&D and business development to source new materials.
• Supporting the Supply Chain Manager in strategy and implementation.
   

??????Role Requirements:

The successful Purchaser will have:

• A degree or a combination of A-levels and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to produce concise and effective reports on costs and opportunities
• The ability to build, maintain and manage supplier relationships

Preferred:

• Experience in a Purchasing/Buying role in the chemical industry
• CIPS qualifications
