Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in Fostering
Car driver with access to a vehicle Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and safety of children in their care.
Conduct regular home visits and assessments to monitor the quality of care provided by foster families.
Collaborate with local authority child care teams to coordinate services and support for foster placements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to foster care.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Advocate for the best interests of children and promote their emotional, physical, and educational development.
Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, legislation, and National Minimum Standards.
Support foster carers in managing challenging situations and providing a nurturing environment.
Skills and Experience:
Experienced social worker with a background in safeguarding and fostering. Strong working knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation.
Ability to build positive relationships with foster carers and children. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
We have a hybrid model of working with a minimum of two days working in the office.
