Requirements:

• Car driver with access to a vehicle Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and safety of children in their care.

• Conduct regular home visits and assessments to monitor the quality of care provided by foster families.

• Collaborate with local authority child care teams to coordinate services and support for foster placements.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to foster care.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Advocate for the best interests of children and promote their emotional, physical, and educational development.

• Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, legislation, and National Minimum Standards.

• Support foster carers in managing challenging situations and providing a nurturing environment.

Skills and Experience:

• Experienced social worker with a background in safeguarding and fostering. • Strong working knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation.

• Ability to build positive relationships with foster carers and children. • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.

We have a hybrid model of working with a minimum of two days working in the office.
