A successful, family-run business are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their small but busy team in Wallingford.
Working closely with the wider Accounts team, you will be an integral member of a growing business in a supportive and friendly environment.
Initially office based, this role has potential for hybrid working following successful completion of a probation period and training.
The role:
- Assist with the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Prepare monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, deferred costs and income reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process online banking transactions
- Management of daily banking and reconciliation
- Assisting with month end accounts
- Cash flow forecast
- Supporting the Management Accountants in any required areas
The right person:
- Significant previous experience in a comparable role
- AAT qualified an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages especially Excel
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Enjoys working in a close-knit, family-run business with a sociable envrionment
