Are you a seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer with a passion for driving continuous improvement and ensuring supplier excellence? We are seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing business, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of the supply chain. In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold the highest standards of quality, ensuring that materials and parts meet both regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

You'll be working for a company with a strong reputation for producing premium, reliable products, maintaining and enhancing their quality standards is vital. This is a supplier focused role, dealing with all goods in related issues, overseeing a team of quality inspectors as well as being on supplier sites to improve quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal with all non-conforming incoming materials and parts, keeping the NCR database up to speed

Oversee the quality inspection team

Work to specialist ISO quality standards and help introduce new quality measures

Requirements:

Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and experience implementing and maintaining compliance.

Strong understanding of quality tools such as APQP, 8D, FAIR, PPAP, and FMEA.

Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders across different levels, including suppliers and internal teams, to address quality concerns.

Experience in recording and managing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and driving corrective actions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
