We are working with a prestigious client in search of a Sales Manager who will be a driving force behind their sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for spearheading business growth through strategic telephoning, impactful meetings, and compelling proposals. About You

As a Sales Manager, you will excel in:

  • Making effective telephone calls and scheduling meetings to generate business opportunities.
  • Conducting meetings that lead to a high number of quality proposals.
  • Writing detailed and innovative proposals
  • Collaborating with teams to enhance proposals and marketing strategies.
  • Researching competitors’ activities to ensure our sales and marketing efforts are industry-leading.
  •  Maintaining up-to-date and accurate client data records.
  • Liaising with the Operations team to ensure feasibility and exceed client expectations.
  • Identifying opportunities for personal and team development.

Day to Day of the Role

  • Generate targeted meetings through effective call strategies.
  • Plan and execute meetings with the support of the team to maximise success.
  • Develop and proofread proposals, ensuring alignment with our brand and service commitments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance our image and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Regularly update and expand our client database to ensure accuracy and identify new opportunities.
  • Communicate with internal teams to align on proposals and operational capabilities.
  • Seek out professional development opportunities for yourself and the team.
  • Maintain high standards of performance, including meeting quotas for client engagement and contract acquisition.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • FMCG experience, preferably within catering or food & beverage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in proposal writing and data management.
  • Creative thinking with a flair for innovation and professionalism.
  • Competence in using CRM systems, preferably ACT or similar.
