CNC Miller - Setter

My client provides high precision CNC Milling/Turning and ancillary services to a variety of high-tech industries including Formula 1, Nuclear Safety and Science & Technology. They are currently on the lookout for a CNC Miller to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller
- CNC Machining, and setting
- Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines
- Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required
- Using initiative to improve quality/throughput
- Working to scheduled lists
- Operate within a 5's manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards
Qualifications & Experience – CNC Miller
- Demonstrable experience of CNC programming is desirable – EDGECAM/FANUC or similar but not essential
- Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
- Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining
- Use of inspection tools (able to perform 100% inspection) and CMM desirable
- Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions
- Working to high quality standards
- Engineering apprenticeship desirable
- National Engineering Technical certificate
- NVQ's or City and Guilds
