Our client, a family-run business whom have grown to over 300 FTE and been established for over 30 years, are looking to recruit an experienced, personable Bid/Tender/Proposal Writer to join their successful operation. Working in a fantastic office with an amazing team of people (including an incredibly personable Head of Sales - a recent Hays placement!), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate! Our client are a Fresh Food Contract Caterer, and service a wide range of both corporate and Public Sector clients across Oxfordshire/Midlands/South. Combining fresh, bespoke food with an incredible service, our client have grown extensively since their inception in the late 80's, and are continuing to evolve. Due to their need for growth, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to join their client-facing Sales operation within a Bid/Tender/Proposal Writing capacity, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Writing and delivering professional, high-quality proposals, bids and tender submissions- Analysing tender and proposal documents to identify client needs, ensuring competitive and customer-focused submissions- Developing bespoke submissions that clearly communicate the company's value proposition- Researching competitor's activities to ensure the company's sales/marketing presence is at the forefront- Collaborating with internal teams (Operations/Finance/Marketing, tec) to gather accurate and compelling data for submissions- Liaising with external clients when required (to support a customer-facing team)In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of working within an Administrative capacity (ideally within Bids/Tenders but open if not)- Fun, sociable personality (allowing to work in tandem with the Sales team)- Excellent administrative capability - Proficiency in all Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, etc)In addition to a very competitive salary, our client are also offering the following:- Discretionary annual bonus- Free parking- Fantastic working hours (Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.30pm)- Great progression opportunities!Our client are looking to move very quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
