This role is a permanent position working alongside a team of 4 within the Fire & Security Service team. You will play a key role in the day-to-day scheduling and booking of all-new, existing and contracted customers.

Role: Service Administrator/Scheduler

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum (Negotiable)

Location Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday - Friday

Holiday Entitlement: 22 Days + Bank Holidays

About the role:As Service Administrator/Scheduler your duties will be:

  • Taking calls from engineers and customers
  • Book in domestic/commercial jobs, Electrical, Mechanical and Fire & Security
  • Manage and maintain the diary, ensuring the engineer diaries have correct information/job numbers and job details
  • Use of technical training where applicable - to progress in current job role
  • Greet customers in the office, ensuring the relevant person is aware
  • To order materials when required
  • Issue certificates to relevant customers
  • To observe and comply with the companies H&S policies and company procedures
  • To remain professional with colleagues, and customers alike Ensures all operations are conducted in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Maintains cover for other department members during periods of planned and unplanned absence.
  • Participates in and undertakes project work as required, reporting progress at departmental meetings.

Candidate Specification for the Service Administrator/Scheduler

  • Previous experience of working within a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Process-driven with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
