Production Technician
Location: Wallingford
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team in the manufacturing of Jet Tender products. This role involves assisting in various stages of assembly, preparation, and finishing processes, ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare mouldings according to the production schedule.
- Participate in the bonding and preparation of boats.
- Engage in cutting, grinding, and flow coating of bonded boats.
- Support other areas of the manufacturing process as directed by your line supervisor.
- Produce sub-assemblies as required.
- Assist in training new production operatives and other personnel.
- Operate in accordance with the company's health and safety procedures and other related policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or a relevant Engineering BTEC Level qualification.
- Practical skills and proficiency in using conventional workshop power and hand tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
