Chroma is seeking a Control Systems Engineer with strong PLC and Motion Controls experience for an Advanced Engineering business.
The role involves working on the full lifecycle of complex machinery and large industrial systems, focusing on projects that include software, propulsion systems, and high power electrical systems.
Candidates should have a HNC/D or Degree in engineering or computing, with strong PLC programming skills and experience in Motion Control.

The role of the Control Systems Engineer is to work on the full lifecycle of highly complex machinery and large industrial systems. Each project is both different and highly interesting involving complex software, propulsion systems, pistons, gearboxes, drives, high power electrical systems etc. They are also interested in Industry 4.0 and data acquisition.

Control Systems Engineer requirements:

HNC/D or Degree qualified in engineering, computing etc.
Strong PLC programming skills Beckhoff / Siemens TIA Portal
Structured Text (ST)
Motion Control / Drive experience
Electrical hardware knowledge(desirable)
SCADA / Industry 4.0 / Web based coding (desirable)
