A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming and well-established nursery in Wallington. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated early years professional who is ready to lead a team and create a nurturing learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment.
  • Plan and implement activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Lead and support a team of practitioners, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records, working closely with parents and carers.
  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere that promotes children's development.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above) in line with DfE requirements.
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting, with leadership or senior practitioner experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding policies, and child development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for working with young children and creating an enriching learning experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
