Paralegal - Private Client Department

- Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Private Client Department. The successful candidate will assist our solicitors in providing comprehensive legal services to our clients, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist solicitors in providing expert legal advice and support to clients on a range of private client matters
- Draft and review legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Liaise with clients, colleagues, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal in private client law is essential, and fee earning within this field, desirable.
- Proven experience in drafting Wills, LPAs, Declarations of Trust, and assisting with estate administration
- Strong knowledge of Court of Protection and deputyship matters
- Experience in contentious probate and trust administration is desirable
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
