Zen Educate is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Wallington and Purley. While experience working with a variety of needs is preferred, what’s most important is your passion and enthusiasm for supporting children with SEN.

We have a range of roles available, including part-time, full-time, and long-term positions, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £94.50 per day, with the opportunity to earn up to £100 per day after impressing in a school trial.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in classroom settings.

  • Preferably have training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained.

  • Be passionate about working with SEN children and committed to making a difference.

  • Be flexible, proactive, and patient in their approach.

  • Communicate effectively within a team and build strong relationships with staff and students.

  • Be committed to working full-time or part-time, depending on the role.
