Key responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess apprenticeships in Plate Welding and Metal Fabrication through both classroom-based teaching and practical assessments in the workplace.
- Conduct regular workplace visits and employer reviews to monitor learner progress and ensure apprenticeship standards are met.
- Provide support and guidance to apprentices to help them achieve industry-recognised qualifications.
- Uphold high standards of teaching, assessment, and learner progression in line with apprenticeship frameworks.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and learning resources.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Welding and Fabrication within the Energy sector.
- Qualified to industry-recognised standards in a relevant field.
- Post-16 teaching qualification and English & Maths qualifications at Level 2 (or willingness to achieve these within an agreed timeframe).
- Commitment to upholding organizational values and delivering excellent learning outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
