Avicenna Retail Limited have a fantastic opportunity for an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) or Technician with a view to training as an ACT to join our team in Rhydyfelin Pharmacy

What you need

To be successful in this role you will be a team player who is a detailed oriented person working methodically and accurately. In addition, you will have:

excellent communication and customer service skills
completed L3 NVQ or ACT accredited course
registered with GPhC

What you can expect:

As an ACT, you will be required to work in the dispensary assisting the relevant Pharmacy Manager providing an efficient and professional dispensing service in line with company policies and procedures. Whilst always maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner, enhancing the success of the pharmacy.

Key accountabilities will be:

To ensure customer prescriptions are received and dispensed in a timely manner
To reduce Owings by managing the optimum stock levels
To fully comply with SOPs to ensure patient safety
To support and proactively seek opportunities to increase revenue by actively promoting appropriate services. to meet customer needs, maintain and grow profitability of the pharmacy
After the pharmacist has clinically checked all scripts complete the final accuracy check
