Town and Country Cleaners are expanding their team! We are looking for a cleaner for the communal areas in a housing block in Deal for 3 mornings a week.
Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am to 11.30am. This totals 6 hours per week.
This role is 12.21 per hour and paid fortnightly.
This is a lone working position, you must be confident following your own initiative.
Main Duties
- Maintain the site to a high cleaning standard in line with the cleaning specification required.
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Domestic housekeeping duties will be required if the rented family room has been booked.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
- Reporting to the office with any issues regarding equipment, stock, or areas.
Candidate Requirements
- Cleaning experience is preferred however training will be provided.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety is preferred.
- Reliable.
- Live within a commutable distance.
- Strong work ethic.
- Take pride in their work.
- Have sufficient documents to pass a Right to Work check and an Enhanced DBS check if necessary.
