Electrical Project Manager

3 month contract

Full time on site (Norwich)

Sustainable Talent have engaged exclusively with an Industry leader who design, install and commission large scale Battery Energy Storage Sytems (BESS) for their clients. They are one of the leading electrical engineering companies in the UK, servicing the Renewables, Nuclear, Marine and Offshore sectors.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Previous project management experience within utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • HV Electrical connections
  • Building strong relationships with the end client
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all site-related HSE policies and requirements
  • Meet programme deadlines and budget by managing all site works
  • Internal and external project meetings
  • Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes
  • Previous exposure to H&S, budget and programme responsibility
  • Qualified at HNC level; relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with client, supply chain and employees
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task
