Hays Senior Finance are working with this service business based in Walsall to help them recruit a group accountant. This business keeps their customers at the heart of everything they do and prides themselves on being a trusted partner and delivering excellent customer service.
Your new role
The job of the group accountant will involve but not be limited to:
- Responsible for the consolidation of accounts
- Providing financial information to the finance and senior leadership team
- Production of reports
- Supporting and assisting with year-end statutory accounts
- Maintaining financial control and ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports produced
- Cashflow forecasting; supporting the production of monthly forecasts
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and controls
- Adhoc production of analysis and reporting as and when requested
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of consolidation of accounts. They will be either a qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidate who is happy working in a technical accounting role.
