Our client, a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Walsall, is looking to take on a Senior Accountant who is either exam qualified or QBE.
You will be working with an exciting and varied client base and great opportunities for progression.
Typical duties
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations & Returns
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
- Tax & Business Planning
- Higher level tax calculations/planning, such as capital gains, IHT, business valuations, etc.
- Client Interaction
- Staff Training
Skills needed
- 5 years or more practice experience
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Knowledge of bookkeeping packages such as Sage, Xero, Quickbook's, etc
- Confident and a good positive attitude
- Conscientious and can demonstrate initiative
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Salary up to £48,000 pa DOE
