Your new companyNewly created Tax Senior opportunity within a successful, growing independent firm of chartered accountants offering scope to gain mixed tax experience and develop advisory skills.

Your new roleWorking closely with the Tax Partner and other members of the tax team, this client-facing role offers the opportunity to work with a range of businesses to advise on a mix of personal and corporate tax matters. Additionally, you will provide some technical support, when required, to others in the tax team and will undertake compliance reviews.

Advisory projects will be predominantly corporate tax focussed and could include advising clients on EIS schemes, share valuations, restructuring, demergers, capital gains work and a variety of other topics associated with owner-managed and SME businesses.What you'll need to succeedYou will have the confidence to support clients with technical tax queries and will hold either accountancy or tax qualifications (or both) or will be progressing well with your exams. Ideally, you will work in a tax role in an accountancy firm either with a personal or a corporate tax focus, but those with good technical tax knowledge and experience within a more "general practice" role would also be considered.
