FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well established Engineering business based in Walsall. The business have been running for 35+ years now and constantly winning new business!
Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within an SME environment, have used Sage previously & have experience of working with an external accountancy firm. This role will cover an array of transactional finance duties & report into the MD.
Duties Will Include
- Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Data entry into Sage 50
- Supporting with VAT queries
- Raising, sharing & logging invoices with customers & suppliers
- Resolving any queries raised from customers or suppliers
- Processing Expenses, Rebates and Payments
- Assisting the MD & external accountants with their month / year-end duties
- Answering telephones / emails and dealing with queries
- Chasing payments over the phone and via email
