A well-known, construction business are searching for a new Accounts Payable Clerk. Sitting in a fantastic team, you will gain exposure to new areas of finance as well as liaising with teams outside the finance function. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within finance and Accounts Payable.

In this role you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes and manage supplier accounts. Along with this you will work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure all queries raised are successfully solved. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to prioritise different workloads. You will be an integral part of a loyal, fast-paced team, closely working with the Accounts Payable Manager, to provide the best services to all clients.

Skills required

  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, where you have processed invoices, completely payment runs and been involved with bank reconciliations.
  • Have great time management and organisational skills, to enable you to hit a number of tight client deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Be a confident and outgoing individual with great communication skills, as you will regularly engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Be a team player, not only will you be challenged with completing your own work, you will help support colleagues in specific projects/tasks.
