A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Finance/Payroll Assistant to join a well-established business based in Cheslyn Hay.

The Company

Seymour John are pleased to be working in partnership with an exciting and well-established business in Cheslyn Hay that has seen strong growth in recent years and are now looking to hire an experienced Finance/Payroll Assistant to join their finance team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll and associated reporting
  • Completing all monthly payroll reconciliations
  • Daily payment and receipt allocation of all banks
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Issuing daily sales report
  • Completing and processing commercial invoices
  • Setting up and managing customer accounts
  • Management of processing of overhead invoices
  • IF monthly reconciliation and reporting to the bank
  • Reconciling and completing quarterly VAT returns
  • Assisting in completion of month end reconciliations and Management Accounts
  • Assisting in yearly audits
  • Supporting and assisting the wider team to include cover for sales order processing and credit control during leave
  • Ensuring that all filing is done accurately and on a regular basis
  • Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties required by the Finance Manager and CFO

You must have strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with all business functions and communicate effectively. We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience in a similar role, matched with good ERP knowledge and the ability to work on your own initiative.
