The Blossoms Nurseries has a new, exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Person to join the group!
The Blossoms Nurseriesis made up of 6nurseries in the following locations: Pelsall, Rushall, Great Barr, Cannock, Oldbury & Edgbaston
We are looking for a reliable, multi-skilled Maintenance Person to maintain and upkeep our 6settings, completing a wide range of day to day planned maintenance jobs, as well as larger projects and reactive maintenance when they arise.
You'll play a key role in the Company by maintaining our nurseries and keeping them looking their best, allowing them to operate smoothly. You will have previous experience in being an 'all round' handy person with a good understanding of general DIY, basic plumbing, basic electrics, gardening, carpentry and painting and decorating.
Friendly and approachable, you'll be happy and comfortable interacting with our little ones throughout your day, answering their many questions about the jobs you are completing!
The Company will provide all required tools for this position as well as a Company van for the successful candidate to utilise. It is therefore essential that you have a full driving licence as you will be expected to travel to all 6settings.
The hours for this position are 40 hours per weekwith full flexibility in regards to the working pattern. There is the expectation that when required, evening or weekend work will be completed, however this will be planned in advance. There may also be times when you are called out of hours if an emergency arises.
