If the answer to the above is yes, then you may be interested in the Graduate Sustainability Advisor role I am currently recruiting for. The role itself will be working at group level to help deliver the companies sustainability objectives with a unique opportunity to work across four companies, gaining hands-on experience in everything from groundworks and infrastructure to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient homes.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate or junior sustainability candidate, to develop their career within an existing team.

Responsibilities of the Graduate Sustainability Advisor will include:

  • Assisting the team to provide help, advice, internal training, and policy communication on all sustainability aspects.
  • Assist with carbon reduction monitoring and reporting, and looking for opportunities to make improvements
  • Working throughout the business to support the development of the sustainability policy and ensure that the company is in line with relevant legislation and management systems
  • Communicating internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement

The successful Graduate Sustainability Advisor will have:

  • An Environmental or related qualification - IEMA or relevant Degree, such as Geography, Environmental Management or Sustainability
  • A passion for excellence, and an ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
