Litigation Paralegal Location: WalsallSalary: up to £27,000Type: Full-Time We, at Simpson Judge are currently working with a well established multi service law who are looking to bring in a litigation paralegal into their Dispute Resolution department. With a focus on commercial litigation, the firm represents clients of all sizes in Shareholder Disputes, Director Disqualification, Property Litigation, Professional Negligence, Breach of Contracts and Contentious probate. Key Responsibilities:- Assist solicitors in preparing and managing commercial litigation cases.- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests.- Maintain and organise case files, documents, and evidence.- Communicate with clients, experts, and other parties involved in litigation.- Attend court hearings and trials as required, assisting solicitors in the presentation of cases.- Draft correspondence and reports, ensuring all documents are accurate and timely.- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.Requirements:- A degree in law or equivalent qualification (essential).- Previous experience in a paralegal role, preferably in Commercial Dispute Resolution. - Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.If this is of interest please get in touch with Rory Brand at Simpson Judge today for a highly confidential chat.
