We are working with a top tier construction company who are looking to employ an MEICA Project Engineer on a full-time basis.
As Project Engineer within the MEICA business, you will bring demonstrable MEICA or industrial installation experience and practical skills to the team. You will provide the detailed technical input to the project and ensure works are safe and meet the specifications prior to implementation. The Project Engineer will have a strong focus on achieving safety targets and have zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences. They will actively engage the project construction team in the successful implementation of project delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Project Management team in the delivery of MEICA projects
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
- Manage multiple engineering aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet technical and quality standards
- Supporting the project team in preparing detailed MEICA & interface engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and civil engineers, to ensure integrated and coordinated project designs.
- Keeping up to date with advancements in electrical engineering technology and best practices.
- Preparing and delivering project progress reports and presentations to clients and project stakeholders
What do we need from you?
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering related subject, ideally in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, ICA, Manufacturing or Civil engineering
- SMSTS or NEBOSH qualified
- Relevant CSCS Card (Either Experienced Technical Supervisor, Supervisory, Professionally Qualified Person, or Manager)
- Three years + experience in working at Senior Engineer level or higher with more than three direct reports
- Significant industrial MEICA, Civil or Engineering background
- Water & Wastewater Industry background (Desirable)
- WIMES Standards familiarisation (Desirable)
- Knowledge of MF1, NEC, IChemE or similar model contracts (Desirable)
- Understanding of power project economics (Desirable)
