Job Profile
The role requires a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join an innovative organisation. The candidate must be a UK national and will need to pass security vetting upon employment.
Duties:
- Setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC Milling Machines such as HAAS MiniMill 2
- Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings
- Prepare test runs to ensure programs are accurate
- Monitor machines during operations and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain daily functionality of machinery
Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Setter, Operator
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools
- Ability to edit and amend CNC programs with HAAS / Fanuc controls
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good mathematical skills and results-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Experience with HAAS CNC machines is advantageous
Hours of Work:
- 39.5 Hours per week
- 7:30 16:00 Monday Thursday
- 7:30 13:00 Fridays
