Job Title: CNC Programmer - CNC Lathes (Fanuc Controls)
Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Pay Rates: 17 - 19 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday-Thursday 07:00am to 16:00pm & Friday 07:00am to 11:00am
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering business, programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and dedicated team in a supportive environment with excellent working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
- Interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints to create accurate CNC programs.
- Selecting appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds to optimise production efficiency.
- Conducting quality checks and first-off inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
- Troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to programs and machines.
- Collaborating with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
Qualification/experience:
- Proven experience programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Strong knowledge of turning processes and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to work
