We are a dynamic subcontract machine shop seeking an experienced and dedicated CNC Setter/Operator to join our talented team. If you are passionate about precision engineering and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!
- Operate and set CNC Lathes and CNC Millers, ensuring high-quality production.
- Conduct tool setting and adjustments to meet production targets.
- Perform regular inspections of your work to maintain quality standards.
- Record job tooling requirements and setting information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following a 5S approach.
- Optimize setting and cycle times while focusing on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and enhance machine performance.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a subcontract machine shop environment.
- Proficient in operating CNC Lathes and CNC Millers with a strong understanding of Fanuc controls.
- Experience with barfeed lathes is advantageous.
- Programming and editing experience is a plus.
- Hardworking and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple machines as needed.
- Must be a UK resident.
