About Us: We are working with a dynamic and growing logistics company based in Walsall, committed to delivering exceptional products and services to their clients. We are looking for a diligent and experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team and help manage our accounts receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the company's credit control system.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
  • Resolve invoice queries and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on outstanding debts.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of invoices.
  • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience within logistics is a plus.
