We are currently recruiting for an Inbound Customer Service Advisor working for the RAC Call Centre based in Walsall. The RAC is one of the UK’s biggest and most well-recognised companies operating in the Motoring industry. Their office in Walsall is ideally located in a central area which has exceptional public transport links via Tram, bus and Train

Role:

We are currently recruiting for the RAC for a Call Centre Customer Service Advisor to join their Customer Service team. This role will see you dealing with customers who are calling to report a vehicle breakdown and are seeking RAC assistance. Your role will see you beig their first point of contact, ensuring customer safety and taking all necessery details for an RAC patrol to be deployed:

-Answering inbound calls from customers experiencing a vehicle breakdown

-Answering any customer questions and providing high levels of customer service

-Taking details of breakdown including location and processing intot he RAC system

-Keeping the customer updated at all times

Requirements:

To work in the RAC Customer Service department, we are looking for people who have exception Customer Service, Communication and people skills. You may be dealing with customers who are distressed from a roadside breakdown and as such, you will need to show empathy and a calming nature to ensure their safety and accuracy of information gathered:

-Previous customer service experience (essential)

-Excellent timekeeping and punctuality (essential)

-Excellent communication skills (essential)

-Professional telephone manner (essential)

-Call centre experience (useful)
