Digital Marketing Executive Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver and implement the digital marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with the wider marketing plan
  • Support in the development of digital campaigns to increase brand awareness and online traffic
  • Produce SEO-rich and engaging copy to be used across all digital channels, including the website, social media sites, blogs, and case studies
  • Take ownership of all email marketing activity which involves developing engaging and targeted emails to be sent through the CRM
  • Manage the company's social media channels, which includes scheduling content using Hootsuite, developing captivating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and creating engaging copy
  • Maintain the company website, ensuring it is regularly updated and working with an external developer to identify and implement structural changes
  • Utilise Google Analytics and SEMrush to measure and report on digital marketing success, using these findings to improve and inform future campaigns and digital activity
  • Collaborate with an external PR agency to develop press releases and increase brand awareness through positive media relations
  • Use SEO and PPC to drive website and social media traffic, with the support of the Head of Marketing
  • Undertake regular competitor activity to identify areas of improvement
  • Monitor digital trends and insights to optimise online performance and inform content

Digital Marketing Executive Skills and Experience:

  • Possesses broad marketing experience with a particular emphasis on digital marketing
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and has experience in managing social media channels
  • Strong content writing skills and an understanding of SEO
  • Knowledge and experience of using paid ads would be advantageous
  • Analytically minded and insight-driven, with expertise in using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and social and email analytics
  • Proficient user of WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and MS Office
  • Experienced working in collaboration with external agencies
  • A degree in Marketing or English would be preferred but not essential
