Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurse to become a part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for working with children and a strong commitment to their development and wellbeing. This role involves engaging with children, supporting their educational journey, and contributing to a positive and enriching nursery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for children
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and carers
  • Work as part of a team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery setting
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • A caring and patient nature
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training (preferred)
