Home Manager required for a brand new luxury elderly nursing home commission in Staffordshire.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to lead the opening of a prestigious new luxury nursing home This exceptional care home is due to open in the next few months and is located in the Walsall area.

As Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the launch and ongoing operations of this state-of-the-art care home. You will be responsible for building a cohesive and passionate team, delivering outstanding care, and fostering a warm, welcoming community for residents and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the commissioning process and ensuring a seamless transition to full operational status.
  • Developing and implementing robust operational strategies to meet regulatory, financial, and service excellence standards.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional care.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community to establish the home as a care provider of choice in the area.
  • Overseeing all aspects of compliance, quality assurance, and financial performance to achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Commissioning experience is desirable as is a nursing qualification.
  • Managing a high-quality care home, with a track record of delivering excellent results in inspections and resident satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices within the care sector.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets, drive occupancy, and achieve financial targets.
