They provide complete end-to-end engineered solutions.The Role:The Electrical Pneumatic Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical and pneumatic systems for various applications. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings, selecting appropriate components, and ensuring that systems meet performance and safety standards.The Candidate:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and pneumatic systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Key skills:
  • Design electrical and pneumatic systems for machinery, equipment, and industrial processes.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, production staff, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and conduct tests to validate the performance and reliability of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for existing electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to identify potential issues. Implement corrective actions to address design deficiencies and improve system performance.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
Qualifications and Skills:Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in designing electrical and pneumatic systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations for electrical and pneumatic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ideally a bachelor's degree or additional certification in electrical or pneumatic engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience with automated control systems and robotics. Professional certification in electrical or pneumatic design is a plus.
Experience:Previous experience in electrical and pneumatic system design, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Experience with project management and coordinating cross-functional teams.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment, which may include standing for extended periods and exposure to noise, dust, and equipment hazards.Work Environment:
