The company
A leading components and assemblies manufacturer supplying into some of the world's most prestigious aerospace and automotive businesses globally. Due to a significant increase in key projects, the company is now seeking an electrical maintenance engineer to join the team at their Willenhall site.

The role
An Electrical Maintenance Engineer,
to provide repair and maintenance of the plant and equipment at their Walsall based facility.

Mon-Fri (Double shifts: 6am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-9pm)

You will take responsibility for:

  • Perform routine maintenance, installations, overhauls, and repairs of equipment to meet statutory requirements.
  • Electrical fault finding and installations on various plant equipment.
  • Supporting the wider production team, attending breakdowns and completing electrical and mechanical maintenance checks as and when required
  • Complying to maintenance schedules and electrical safe systems


What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

  • Must be NVQ Level 3 / HNC qualified in Electrical engineering or a similar discipline and ideally 17th /18th Editions.
  • Industrial experience
  • The ability to use and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Good knowledge of industrial drives and control systems and/or PLCs
  • Must be computer literate, organised, self-motivated, have a good attention to detail and a strong communicator.


Other DESIRABLE skills include:

  • Ideally experienced working within an industrial/heavy engineering environment
  • Knowledge or experience of working robotic and/or laser equipment would be highly advantageous.
