Plant Mechanic Workshop based - Aldridge

Our client who is an established Civil Engineering company with a fleet of plant machinery is looking to take on an experienced Plant Mechanic due to continued growth within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified/time served plant mechanic to join a growing team, develop new skills and further their career.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the companies' fleet of Plant Machinery (excavators, Dumpers, Rollers, and other related plant equipment)
  • Welding
  • Preform planed/preventative maintenance
  • Run fault finding diagnostics
  • Yearly LOLER inspections
  • Record all works carried out each day
  • Liaise with workshop manager daily and keep them up to date on work load
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed


Key qualifications

  • Preferred City and Guilds / NVQ in Mechanics
  • Previously worked on Plant machinery
  • Technical understanding of engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulic pumps, electrics, etc
