Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with proven experience managing two or more direct reports in various Transaction roles.

We are seeking an Accounts Team Leader to join our fantastic and established team, in Walsall. Our client boasts a warm and welcoming environment with a little to no staff turnover! We are looking for a confident communicator with experience in all-round Accounts roles and supervisory experience. The Accounts Team Leader will support a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks and Payrollers to complete end-to-end processes. We are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running in the role but, ultimately, our client is looking for a perfect personality fit!

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Hold regular catch ups and objective setting meetings with the team, ensuring clear communication and guidelines to encourage efficiency
  • Manage escalated queries in both Purchase Ledger and Payroll
  • Complete monthly reporting on the ledgers and payrolls for senior management and other stakeholders
  • Manage processes to ensure smooth running of the Accounts department and provide clear communication across the business

Ideally, You Will:

  • Have previous working experience in Transactional roles in order to effectively give guidance to your team (ideally Purchase Ledger and Payroll)!
  • Be an approachable and friendly person with fantastic communication skills!
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience supervising or managing a team of two or more!
  • Be a bright individual with great numerical and analytical skills
