Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all financial operations within the company. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective financial strategies, controls, and processes. You will prepare detailed budgets and financial forecasts, conduct regular financial analysis, and produce reports for senior management. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards will also fall under your purview. Leading and managing a team of finance professionals will be an integral part of your role.
- Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely delivery.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations and processes.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
What the successful candidate will bring
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience managing a team
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
