Sonic Summary

Reed Finance is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee day-to-day operations of the finance function, reporting directly to the Director.
This role is suitable for an existing Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or deputy Financial Controller with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely month-end reporting, leading the finance team, and managing budgets and forecasts.
Candidates must be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, preferably in an SME industry setting.
The position offers a base salary of £70,000 to £75,000 per annum, along with 25 days of annual leave, pension, life cover, and a bonus scheme.

Reporting directly to the Director, the Head of Finance run the day-to-day operations for the finance function and team.

This is an opportunity an existing Head of Finance or a Financial Controller or a deputy Financial Controller looking to step up. You will drive performance and ensure deadlines are met.

Brief overview of key responsibilities.

Ensure timely and accurate month end reporting pack to board
Lead the finance team to meet all key objectives
Budget, Forecasting, Cashflow
Work with Director to oversee all commercial agreements such as insurances
Key contact for Banks, Insurers and auditors
Year end and stat accounting
Board pack and presentation

Requirements.

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
Have held a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role for minimum of 3 years
Strong team leadership skills
Strong systems skills
Strong communication and analytical skills
SME industry background advantageous
Comfortable in an on-site setting at least 4 days per week
