Our Client, a thriving Commercial Insurance provider are looking for an experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Account Handler.
Starting salary around £45,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial insurance as a Insurance Account Handler, Broker or Client Service Executive and are keen to develop their career in a service focused role.
The successful Senior Account Handler will be required to:-
- Provide a high level of professional advice and service.
- Answer general enquiries, renewals, midterm adjustments as well as obtaining quotations.
- Manage a range of larger client insurance programs.
- Handle range of new business enquiries.
- Work closely with Directors, being involved in all aspects of client engagement.
- Act as a technical referral point.
- Offer guidance to less experienced team members.
- Identify cross selling opportunities where appropriate.
The ideal Senior Account Handler will have:-
- Experience in a Commercial Insurance Broking environment.
- A good knowledge of crossclass commercial insurance classes.
- Experience of commercial combined insurance is desirable.
- Experience of Acturis would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to collate information and produce reports.
- Organised nature with the ability to prioritise.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong business relationships.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- International placement experience.
