Gleeson Recruitment Group are working exclusively in partnership with a high-growth and progressive business in Staffordshire, who are looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, in a newly created role.
As the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure financial goals are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the business units.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyse financial performance against strategic initiatives and KPIs, providing actionable insights to drive profitability.
- Commercial Support: Partner with operational teams to optimise financial outcomes, identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, and support pricing strategies.
- Investment Appraisal: Evaluate investment opportunities and support decision-making on capital investments and projects.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- A recognised accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within corporate business.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Proven line management experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving financial performance and delivering results
