Assistant SENDCo Needed in Primary Schools - Walsall.

Are you passionate about supporting individual student's learning journeys? Do you have experience working in Primary Schools, especially with supporting SEN pupils? We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant SENDCo to work alongside an existing SENDCo in one of our schools in Walsall.

As the Assistant SENDCo, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our pupils with special educational needs receive the support they require to succeed. You will work closely with the SENDCo, teachers, and support staff to implement tailored interventions and promote an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the SENDCo in identifying and assessing students with special educational needs.
* Support the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support strategies.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEND.
* Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to SEND provision.
* Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field.
* Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with children with SEND.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
* A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting all learners.
