Your Impact and Responsibilities…

As an Assistant Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:

•Supporting the Merchandiser in managing stock availability and forecasting stock levels to meet sales targets.

•Assisting in the management of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales margin and stock levels.

•Regularly reviewing weekly stock, sales, and intake (WSSI) for your assigned categories.

•Helping with the open-to-buy process and recommending adjustments to maximise sales.

•Analysing sales trends, assisting with planning, and providing input on promotional activities.

•Assisting in producing detailed reports to track stock, sales performance, and other key metrics.

•Collaborating with the team to ensure stock is always in the right place at the right time.

Skills and Knowledge…

We are looking for someone who has:

•A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

•Experience or knowledge in using WSSI and stock management processes.

•Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

•Commercial awareness with a good understanding of sales targets and margins.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
